Create a five-slide social carousel with AI from a client brief

Sociamonials Editorial · Published October 25, 2026 · Sources and review method below

Give the assistant an approved client brief, one reader question and a fixed slide plan. Ask for complete headlines, body copy, visual directions, asset references and a caption. Check every claim against the brief before designing the images. Keep each exported image tied to its approved slide, then compare the actual publishing preview with the intended sequence. A storyboard is a useful client deliverable; finished graphics, approval and observed publishing results are separate milestones.

1. Sell a defined carousel content pack

An agency can offer a recurring pack containing one reader question, a short slide sequence, complete copy, visual directions and a caption. Agree who supplies the facts and images, who designs the graphics and who approves the assembled post. Show a prospect a finished storyboard like the one below, then explain the remaining design and publishing steps. This makes the service concrete before you promise a monthly volume or automated delivery.

Sociamonials’ carousel guide describes adding multiple images to a post and an Instagram preview showing how the carousel will scroll. Use the actual connected account and format to verify what can be submitted and previewed. The documentation establishes that native composition path; it is not a test of these five proposed assets or a guarantee of identical image limits and behavior on every network.[1]

2. Supply one decision and a small approved brief

Our fictional client is Juniper Craft Studio. The reader question is: Which creative session should I ask about? Its assumed approved brief offers three options: make a small pinch pot with clay and tools provided; make a simple printed card with ink and paper provided; or bring your own camera for an outdoor photo walk. Current dates, prices, remaining places and booking arrangements are not supplied. The final slide should ask the studio team for current dates and availability.

The exercise review is November 2, 2026 at 9 AM America/Los_Angeles, with a proposed Instagram post on November 3 at 10 AM in that zone, after the review. Rowan is the fictional client reviewer. The copy budget is seven words per headline and eighteen per slide body, counting space-separated words. These are editorial choices for this example, not platform limits or a proven formula. No real brief, assistant run, images, account, upload or publication was tested.

3. Use the complete five-slide reference

The worksheet provides all five headlines and body texts. Slide 1 introduces the choice; slides 2–4 describe the clay, printmaking and photo-walk options; slide 5 gives the next action. The visual directions are proposed illustrations for a designer, not descriptions of images already created. J01 through J05 are fictional asset references tied to this intended order. Check that each final image conveys the approved activity and supplied materials, without adding a price, available date or outcome promise.

A complete authored reference caption is: Not sure what to try at Juniper Craft Studio? Choose clay for a pinch pot, printmaking for a card, or an outdoor photo walk with your own camera. Clay and tools, or ink and paper, are provided for the relevant studio sessions. Tell our team which activity interests you and ask for current dates and availability. This caption retains the distinctions in the fictional brief. It is not a generated model result or evidence that the studio has real sessions for sale.

4. Reuse this bounded carousel prompt

Prepare a five-slide carousel storyboard for the named client from the approved brief. Answer the supplied reader question. Return slide number, role, complete headline, complete body copy, proposed visual direction and asset reference, followed by one complete caption. Use our stated word budgets and count words separated by spaces. Follow the supplied sequence: choice, option one, option two, option three, next action. Preserve the differences between activities and included materials. Mark missing facts; do not invent prices, availability, dates, locations or guaranteed outcomes. Use the review date, time and zone to compare the proposed send with that clock and any actual deadline in the brief. Treat asset references as planned identifiers; no images are available to inspect. Do not generate graphics, open accounts, upload, create product drafts, schedule, publish or contact anyone. Inputs: [approved brief, reader question, word budgets, sequence, reviewer, review clock and proposed send].

The authored reference output contains five complete slide records and the caption above. Compare any real assistant response with the brief and the worksheet, then send the proposed copy and visual directions to the authorized client reviewer. Preserve questions about missing facts as questions. Rowan can approve this example’s wording for the exercise, but actual dates or prices would need their own supplied facts before being added. A fluent response does not establish a completed design or client decision.

5. Assemble images in the approved order

After actual graphics exist and have been approved, compare the asset manifest with the images in the publisher. The image-order guide documents selecting an attached image, dragging it to the desired position and dropping it. Our fictional incoming order is J01, J03, J02, J04, J05. Moving J02 before J03 produces the intended J01, J02, J03, J04, J05 sequence. This is a reference ordering exercise, not an observed drag-and-drop test.[2]

Inspect the actual preview from the opening choice through the final action. Match each image, headline and body to its asset reference; check readable text, supplied-material distinctions, intended profile and the complete caption. Confirm that the selected route accepts all five images and that the real send time is still future and appropriate. Resolve any unsupported format or missing image before an authorized publishing action. Verify the actual delivered post and sequence rather than treating a saved draft as delivery.

6. Build the recurring agency handoff

The AgencyPro API operates client workspaces through one integration with per-client permissions and optional approval routing for API-created posts. It requires an active AgencyPro subscription on the primary agency workspace; ordinary free trials exclude API access. The Workspace API serves one brand workspace. These facts establish broader publishing scope and eligibility. Verify the specific fields, media support and side effects before offering carousel creation through an agent or API.[3]

Use the AgencyPro overview below to evaluate separate client workspaces and the wider content-delivery service. Demonstrate Juniper’s storyboard and caption to a prospect, then show where approved images, client signoff and actual delivery evidence belong in your process. Repeat the pack around the next approved reader question. Track completed client handoffs and qualified agency enquiries separately; a carousel count does not establish reach, paid subscriptions or sales for your client.

When this approach needs adjusting

  • All studio facts, slide copy, caption, asset references and review dates are fictional. No model, design, image upload, account action or publication was tested.
  • Word budgets are this exercise’s editorial choices. Actual image limits, formats, readable layouts and destination behavior require checks on the chosen route.
  • The visual directions are a design brief, not generated images or proof of rights to artwork. Use approved assets and inspect the actual finished sequence.
  • The public API evidence establishes workspace publishing scope and eligibility, not a tested five-image carousel request or guaranteed social or sales results.

Return to this next week

Choose the next client-approved reader question and repeat the storyboard-to-design handoff. Update supplied facts, keep the caption and image manifest with the approved copy, and compare the actual preview and delivered sequence with that manifest after authorized actions. Use completed client work to assess the recurring service; measure commercial outcomes separately.
